Rockets Host Georgia Tournament

The Rockets Softball Program will be filling Franklin County softball fields this weekend as they host the Vermont Rockets Invitational. Twenty-three teams will participate in the tournament with girls in the 14U, 16U, and 18U categories competing.

Menard’s Love for Soccer Runs Deep

Franklin County's soccer fields will lie dormant for the winter, but as winter comes to Vermont, Mike Menard and his Florida boys will be out on the field in the sun. Menard has coached the BFA St. Albans boys JV soccer team for eight years. He enjoys the opportunity to work with the younger guys, instilling the fundamentals of the game.

Franklin Department Flips Final Pancakes

Sunday, March 11th, the Franklin Volunteer Fire Department and their families will host the 24th and final Franklin Fire Department Pancake Breakfast. The department has been hosting the breakfast since 1993, and in that time they have fed thousands of people and raised over $250,000.
